NRCHA and NCHA have classes specifically designed to introduce new people to cutting and cow horse. You do not have to own the horse you are showing to compete in the following:
Cutting: NCHA $2k Limit Rider
Cow Horse: NRCHA Limited Non Pro and ORCHA NP Limited, Green I, II and Green Horse
How this works
The horses stay on the farm and in training. You get lessons and get the opportunity to show a really nice horse! You will also continue to get instructional support from Shaun at shows. You do not pay any vet or farrier bills. The only other costs would be related to showing. Scroll down below the horses for detailed information including cost.

Suitable for cutting: NCHA $2k Limit Rider and ORCHA Herd
Suitable for cow horse: Green, ORCHA Non Pro Lmited and ORCHA Youth Limited. Still Green Horse eligible.
There are two ways you can lease a horse:
Show Lease You simply lease the horse just for the duration of a horse show. Cost is $75/day and includes the day fee and instruction from Shaun.
Monthly Lease If you commit to a monthly lease, the horse is pulled from our show lease program and you are the only one who can show that horse. Lease includes a minimum of one lesson per week. Cost starts at $350 per month depending on the number of lessons per week. ALL LEASES COME WITH AT LEASE ONE LESSON PER WEEK - $160 VALUE! If you go to a show, you DO NOT pay the $75 show fee and just pay the $20 day fee to get instruction from Shaun. We are very flexible with arrangements; contact us so we can design a lease plan to fit your needs.
With all leases, you do not pay farrier, vet, or board fees. You would be responsible for all show expenses: entry fees, stall, hauling, ect.

Smart Lil Jasmin 2003 AQHA Mare. Own daughter of Spooks Jazzman out of money earning and producing daughter of Smart Chic Olena. Leased out for 2010 Breeding season.
Peppys Dry Leo 1998 AQHA Mare. Leased out for 2010 Breeding season.
